On Wednesday 22 November 2023, the Quantum Radiology Group became aware of a cyber incident where an unauthorised third party gained access to our IT systems and encrypted the contents of those systems.
As soon as we detected the incident, we took steps to contain it, and appointed forensic specialists to investigate what had happened, engaged by our legal advisors along with other cyber incident response specialists.

Out of an abundance of caution, we took our systems offline and closed our clinics. We look forward to re-opening as soon as possible, and opening dates for each clinic will be posted on our website.

This notice contains information about what data has been affected, the support available to potentially impacted individuals and immediate actions that you can take to help protect yourself from the risk of scams or other potential harms.
Based on our investigation, the unauthorised third party may have accessed personal information of individuals as detailed in the table below.

We have notified and are working closely with the government and relevant authorities, including the Australian Cyber Security Centre, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Australian Tax Office as well as NSW and Commonwealth Government bodies. We have also notified law enforcement. We will continue to keep the government and relevant authorities appropriately updated, and continue to work with the NSW Government and the Commonwealth Cyber Security Response Coordination Unit.
